• Measurements = 39mm x 29mm approx.
• Weight = 5.3 grams approx.

A quintessential Victorian era plaque brooch, rectangular in shape and featuring a beautifully hand-etched bird to the front, with a hobnail edge border. The bird appears to be a wading bird, perhaps a heron or an egret. The brooch has a plain reverse, a pin and simple 'C' catch. A wonderful addition for any bird-loving or Victorian-loving collector.

CONDITION
In good antique condition, with some patina and light surface wear to the metal as shown. The pin and catch function perfectly.
