A charming antique fob medal made in 9ct rose gold, the cutout form beautifully engraved with flowers and housing a fantastic secret to both sides! There is a circular locket compartment hidden under the cartouche to the front, and the back has some interesting engraving - it reads "Dr. Oliver's Ambulance Medal". We can only guess at the story behind this; perhaps Dr Oliver was gifted or awarded this fob medal for exemplary actions or a certain number of years of service? Either way, a fascinating antique piece that can easily be worn with a gold chain.

(Please note that the antique box and chain pictured are for display purposes only. Thank you!)

CONDITION
In good antique condition, with some surface wear including scratching commensurate with age as shown. The locket compartment opens and closes as it should.
