An incredible late Victorian to early Edwardian bird charm/pendant, the body set with a mixture of old-cut and rose-cut diamonds, with a single ruby for the eye, mounted in silver and yellow gold. Likely converted from a brooch or stick pin, this lovely little bird has been repurposed into a beautiful charm pendant for wear on a chain or attached to a charm bracelet.
(Please note that the antique box and chain pictured are for display purposes only. Thank you!)
CONDITION
In good antique condition, with some light surface wear commensurate with age. There is a small split to the back of the setting on the tail, as shown in the close-up photo, however the stone is still secure and this doesn't detract from the piece.
